About LEAP
LEAP is an annual tech event established in 2022 by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT), the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones (SAFCSP), and Informa company Tahaluf. It covers diverse topics like Fintech, Edutech, Smart Cities, and AI. The inaugural 2022 event in Riyadh attracted over 100,000 visitors, with 700 tech companies and $6.4 billion worth of initiatives. LEAP featured the “Rocket Fuel Startup Competition” awarding $1 million to promising startups and showcased the world’s largest 40-meter Kaleidoscope.
In 2023 LEAP drew over 172,000 visitors, 900 exhibitors, 700 speakers from 50 countries, 500 startups, and 1026 investors with a combined AUM of 2 trillion. The Rocket Fuel competition in 2023 distributed a $1 million prize fund among six winning startups, including notable companies like Hiroshi Ishiguro, Magic Keys, bHaptics, and Mirror.
LEAP Conference 2024
The ambitious goals set for the LEAP conference of 2024 in Saudi Arabia aim to surpass the previous year and attract 1300 investors, accommodate 2000 exhibitors and host the event on the floor plan that accounts for 110% space increase.
By all means, the 2024 LEAP conference is going to be much bigger, encourage global networking, innovation and drive positive change.
